Stop Calling It “Abortion”
Can we please stop calling it “abortion”? When that word is used to describe the heinous practice of slaughtering unborn children, it’s an insult to the word itself. Space flights are “aborted”. But when Planned Parenthood takes a knife to a woman’s womb and cuts a baby into pieces, removing the baby one piece at a time (D&C), “butchery” is a more suitable word. Military operations are “aborted”. But when salt poisoning is performed on an unborn child, which burns off the outer layers of a baby’s skin and gets into its eyes, stomach and lungs, it takes about 1 hour for the child to die. This is “infanticide”, not “abortion”. The need to “abort” something implies there is no other choice, yet the overwhelming majority of women have multiple choices: parenthood, adoption, and abstinence. The word “abortion” or “termination of pregnancy” is merely a feeble attempt to apply a respectable and dignified label to the atrocious act of “baby killing”. Isa 5:20 – “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” Insisting on such a “politically correct” term to describe such a cruel practice cannot and will not change the reality of such wickedness. So please…stop calling it “abortion”. The reality is far worse.
